Prayer Changes Things Eternally, when we pray not amis

Prayer

Mat 21:21-22  Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

What is your mountain?   Infirmity; sin you can’t seem to get free of; a bad relationship; someone else is hurting and that hurts you … not having what the Jones next door or some famous person has?  Some mountains are of outside evil origin; others originate from within.

Whatever the mountain, however big or small it may seem it is no problem if you know God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  To know God is not just knowing about Him.  It is more than just admiring or respecting Him.   Knowing Him does include such things, but to KNOW him as He longs to know us is to spend time with Him in a personal way.   God is infinitely more able, bigger, mightier, and capable than we can comprehend.  He tells us that He not only can have a personal relationship with each of us, but that He is eager to do so.  Why not try to have a truly personal relationship with God and then you will see how awesome God is.   Have you tried already?  Does your effort include reading His Word to you and yielding to Him and seeking His face continually?  God’s message to us, the Christian Bible (both Old and New Testaments or Covenants) tells us how to act toward Him.  We cannot manipulate or control God, but we can come to Him as a son to a loving Father -- in a respectful, reverent way, loving Him for what He has done, is doing, and will do.  To begin we have to hear the truth of the gospel message.  We approach God the Father only one way and that is through Jesus Christ.  We can’t buy it or earn a relationship with Him.  The Holy Spirit plays an important role in this initial approach and thereafter.  God does not just hear our prayers.   God responds to us in wonderful, loving, kind and amazing to the human soul ways.  God has no limits. He truly is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient.

1Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 8 26So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance

Romans 8 27And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.(1)

1 Corinthians 14 14For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the [1] Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody].

1 Corinthians 2
10Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the [1] divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny].

Genesis 20:6 And God said unto him in a dream

Genesis 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, …

1King 17:24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou [art] a man of God, [and] that the word of the LORD in thy mouth [is] truth.

Luke 1 35Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God.(1)

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

James 4 6But He gives us more and more grace ([1] power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it).(1)

Hebrews 3 7Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice,

Once we are saved from our sin and no longer separated from God, there is the privilege of praying to God in Christ Jesus precious holy Name.  The Holy Spirit needs to lead us in our prayer.   As we read the Holy Scripture the Holy Spirit reveals the meaning and we are able to receive that truth deep within our innermost being.  Deep calls out to deep as the Holy Sprit combined with the Living Word and Water changes us from glory to glory into the stature and image of Christ.  That is God’s destiny for whosoever will.  It is in the Book of books, which is God’s special message to us.

The world system desperately tries to destroy this Word from God that tells us our privileges.  The world system under the control of evil spews out lies in so many dastardly ways.  One of the ways is to bombard and inundate us with garbage in all manner of forms so as to confuse us, to cause fear, uncertainty and doubt.  The garbage kills, steals, and destroys.  Another method evil employs is to entice us to be distracted by busi-ness, and things that rust, bust and collect dust.  With lack of true knowledge, of true vision, do we then ignorantly choose things that are temporal instead of things that are of eternal consequence?

If we cry out to God for the right reasons, He will deliver us from evil -- from the evil one and his demons, whether within or without. This promise is in the Scripture and I’ve seen it happen numerous times. I’ve also experienced it and it is more wonderful than human words can express.

It is not as if there is a limited amount of God, far from it.  The more of us who choose God the better things in this world become and the sooner the next will occur.  In the next new world we will have been made sinless and our bodies do not disappoint us as is the case now.  More importantly God will dwell and walk with us.

How can we have a relationship with someone if we act as if they do not exist?  If we do not have some form of communication with a person there is not a personal relationship.  We may know someone exists but if we do not attempt to communicate in some way we will not have a relationship and are actually acting as if they do not exist or are not worth having a personal relationship with.  The world system was once ruled by satan because man sinned and forfeited the God given authority to rule.  God sent His only begotten Son to save us.  God’s Son chose the nails of the cross and then walked it out.  Being saved by our Heavenly Father is more than some seem to think.  Once we accept that we are saved, we have a way to communicate with God -- it’s through the one who was able to live a sinless life and then pay the price for our sins -- Christ Jesus -- and that forgiveness is available for ALL sin -- past sin, now sin, and future sin.   No human before or since Jesus is perfect and without sin.   God made a way where there was no way.  We only have to believe to receive.  We have to read and pray God’s message to us in order to know fully by the Holy Spirit what to receive.

Crying out to God is one form of prayer.  Prayer is important to a personal relationship with God.   God is there beside each of us waiting to come into our lives in a powerful way.   If He were not there for us then we would be instantly destroyed.   Evil roams about constantly like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.   God prevents this up to the point when He knows you will definitely not choose Him.  Sin can’t exist in God’s immediate presence.  Sin will be destroyed automatically in God’s immediate presence just as light destroys darkness.  God’s plan is for us to one day enter into and remain in His immediate presence (Revelation).    He created us into this time we call life to make an eternal choice.  So this life we think so much of is a brief temporal time to make an eternal choice.   Choose life eternally with God.
